We'll Arrest Any Church That Flouts Covid-19 Safety Protocols- NADMO Director

The Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Director, Mr. Henry Kwofie has said they will arrest Churches that do not adhere to the various Covid-19 Protocols.

Officials of NADMO of the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly visited about 21 churches in the municipality to inspect Covid-19 protocols last yesterday, Sunday 7th February 2021.

The NADMO Director, Mr. Henry Kwofie speaking to the media commended the churches who were adhering to the various Covid-19 protocols.

He expressed disappointment in churches where only veronica buckets were available.

"It's very pathetic that after washing your hand and expecting that the thermometer gun would be pointed on you to check your temperature then they tell you it's either spoilt or in the pastor's office"

He further lamented that the wearing of the nose mask too was a problem in some of the churches that they visited in the municipality.

He however warned that the next time they go on a visit they will not wear their uniforms to be identified by the churches to put themselves together but will arrest them for flouting Covid-19 safety protocols.
