The Chief of Awutu Larbie in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central region, Nai Kwao Amo Larbie (II ), has shared his sentiment on how the Larbie township strives hard with water.

The Unit committee and the community members also accounted for their grievances with Soireenews indicating that they drink water with frogs and cows which is not good for their health.

According to the chief Nai Kwao Amo Larbie (II ), "they communicated with the then Member of Parliament George Nenye Andah before losing his seat to Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, and so they are pleading with the authority in charge of sanitation and water resources to come to their aid or else they will show them where power lines coming election 2024".

The unit committee also joined the conversation by lamenting on the quality of water, which a community of 2,000 people share with frogs and cows.

The committee members told Soireenews about the health threats they are facing and the possible danger that awaits them if the problem is not resolved following 10 years of neglect by the government of Ghana.

"They are Ghanaians and deserve better than this. Most of the villages behind Awutu Larbie have good portable drinking water only their village consume water with frogs and cows, which is not healthy for their life".

They are calling on new Members of Parliament, Obaatanpa Gizella Agbotui Tetteh to come to their aid as she promised during the election.
