Nuno Espirito Santos has spoken on the need for Wolverhampton Wanderers to maintain and probably sign players to improve their current squad ahead of next season.

The Premier League side were dismissed from the Europa League following a late goal from Lucas Ocampos from the Europa League on Tuesday.

The home side was awarded a spot-kick earlier in the game when Diego Carlos brought down Adama Traore in the box yet Bono saved Raul Jimenez’s resulting penalty.

The Portuguese manager of the Premier League side believes their tiny squad played was one reason for their dismissal from the European competition outlining the need to sign players, which is one way to improve the squad depth.

"It is a small squad, we must be very proud and now we need to make good decisions, so we cannot make mistakes like we did before and we need more players that can help us," the Portuguese manager said.
