We Have Not Endorsed Any Candidate As NPP Flagbearer For 2024 —Kejetia Market Fires Back
According to the traders, looking at the underdevelopment of the Kejetia Market compounded with the abandoned of the Asanteman Projects by the current government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Adfo, they (traders) would be the last persons to endorse a candidate for the NPP's flagbearership race.

THOUSANDS of traders in the Kumasi Kejetia Market of the Ashanti Region have denied endorsing any candidate as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.
According to the traders, looking at the underdevelopment of the Kejetia Market compounded with the abandoned of the Asanteman Projects by the current government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Adfo, they (traders) would be the last persons to endorse a candidate for the NPP's flagbearership race.
"We the traders in Kejetia Market have not endorsed any candidate as the flagbearer for the NPP and for that matter we denied such accusation.
"Even if they will endorsed a presidential candidate, it will be a person who has the Asanteman at heart and have supported some institutions in the Ashanti Region," the traders declared.
At a crowded press conference addressed on behalf of the traders by the Executive Member for Kejetia Traders Association, Mr.Sarfo Kantanka, the traders lashed out at the ruling NPP government for abandoning the Asanteman projects which situation has resulted to underdevelopment in the Ashanti Region.
According to them,the president, vice president and the 47 Ashanti Regional MPs should come out and address to them the reason why all the projects they started have been hauled and are not yet completed.
