We Are Going To Implement 30 % Transportation Fare Incretment Ourselves -Drivers Jab President Akufo-Addo

The Floating Drivers Association and Concern Drivers Association Regional Chairmen have expressed their genuine disappointment in their association and Union leaders for keeping mute on the recent agreed 30% transportation fare increment. 

According to the aggrieved drivers, this half-hearted attitude of the government and the leadership of 'our drivers Unions does not promote the welfare and income of persons in the commercial transport business. "

"We are by this release giving our leaders a week ultimatum to implement the fare increment else we will do that ourselves,' the leaders of the Association in the persons of Chairman Floating Drivers Association, A.B Boafo, the Ashanti Regional chairman  Concerned Drivers Association, Akwaada Nyame, Greater Accra Regional chairman Concerned Drivers Association, Nii Ashyi and Eastern Regional chairman of Concerned Drivers Association, Alex Tenkrang in a statement noted.

The statement which was copied to the Soireenews.com noted that the hike in spare parts prices, lubricants and fuel are becoming unbearable for "us and our leaders seem unconcern."
