Watford boss, Nigel Pearson has been reported sacked as head coach of the Hornets.

Nigel took over the Hertfordshire club from Quique Sanchez Flores in December with Watford seven points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League and oversaw a run of four wins in his first seven matches.

He was the first manager to end Liverpool’s unbeaten run and have recorded two wins since the restart.

They are 17th on the League table, three points off the relegation zone, and will resume play on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, against Manchester City at the Vicarage Road.

U-23 coach Hayden Mullins and goalkeeping coach Graham Stack have been placed in charge temporarily to oversee the first-team activities as the club seeks to avoid demotion, with two games remaining.
