Dean Henderson will stay at Sheffield United until the end of the season.

Manager of the Blades, Chris Wilder provided an update on Monday, June 15, 2020, that the Manchester United loanee will sign a short-term contract until the end of the current season before deciding on whether to stay or join Manchester United in the upcoming spells.

“I spoke to Ole yesterday morning and I thanked him for his co-operation with Dean. We’re in a situation where Dean will hopefully agree on a deal to stay until the end of the season in the coming days,” Wilder said.

"Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically," said Solskjaer.

"We're looking at that in terms of where he's going to be next season, but as yet that has not been decided.

"This season has proved a great experience for him, he's done himself some favors with his performances, and proved he will be England's No 1 and Man United's No 1 at some point."

Sheffield will kick off “Project Restart” on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, against Aston Villa.
