Jamie Vardy was awarded the Golden Boot Award accolade after the Premier League was climaxed on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

He is the first to be awarded the accolade in the history of Leicester City football club and became the ninth English player to win or share the Golden Boot.

He took over from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who were joint scorers last season in their respective clubs.

Despite lacking goals in his final two games of the season, the 33-year old converted 23 chances, which included a hat trick and five braces for Leicester City, after they lost their Champions League spot to Manchester United by 2-0.
