Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday,15 September 2019, played Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and recorded an amount of GHS 653,000 ($120,000) as gross income from the gate proceeds.

The charged an amount of GHS 20 across the red, yellow and green stands while the VIP was GHS 50.

Kotoko printed a total ticket of 36,000 but were not sold out despite looking full to its capacity. According to the club, 29,000 tickets were offered to the public.

The income was an improvement as compared to their last game against the Kano Pillars of Nigeria which they grossed GHS 509,000 back in August.

Apart from making the highest profit of income, The Porcupine Warriors also recoded a victory over the Tunisian. Beating them 2:0 in the first leg of the last preliminary stage in the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.

Kotoko will travel to Sousse,Tunisia on 27 September 2019 to face Etoile Du Sahel in the second leg in the CAF Champions League at the Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet in Monastir/Sousse.
