UPDATE : Family of 49 - Year - Old Woman Murdered At Obuasi Estate Demand Justice
The police has told us that they have picked up a suspect assisting Investigation so all we need from the court is to let justice prevail pastor Duah added .
YAW OPOKU Veronica Appiah, mother of two was murdered on Monday October 26, 2021 at estate, a suburb in the obuasi municipal assembly.
It could be recalled that the 49- years- old Veronica Appiah, was murdered and dumped at the Obuasi estate railway lane by unknown assailant.
A follow up engagement by Soireenews with the Obuasi police commander DSP Martin Assenso, he disclosed that a suspects has been pick up by the police to assist investigation.
He warned residents to desist from such act else they would not be spared when caught.
Meanwhile, the deceased has been laid to rest in Obuasi.
In an interview with Pastor Agyemang Duah Malik, A brother of the deceased at the funeral grounds of the late Veronica Appiah he thanked the police for picking up a suspect related to the murderer of their beloved.
"It wasn't easy when I heard my sister has been murdered, all I have wanted was the arrest of the suspect and the burial of Veronica, for God being soo good this is how far we have come".

A 46-year-old Veronica Appiah was found dead in Obuasi on Tuesday 26 October 2021. investigation revealed that she was murdered and dumped at the railway lane.
Veronica, mother of two who lives at Estate, a suburb in the Obuasi municipal assembly of the Ashanti region is believe to have sent her ward to buy a coil around 7 pm on Sunday.
In an engagement with some residents they say, the deceased decided to follow up to find out what actually was delaying her ward from coming back home with the coil as it was getting late but unfortunately she did not return home from Sunday around 9 pm, but before the residents could realize on Monday morning Veronica has been murdered and dumped at the railway line at Obuasi estate.
Police has however denied interview says investigation is ongoing, but foul play is suspected says the police.
