Three suspects who escaped from cells are being sought by the Upper East Side Police Department.

The event was confirmed by Upper East Regional Police PRO ASP David Fianko-Okyere.

Three suspects who eluded police custody are being sought by the Upper East Regional Police Command.

For various offenses, the accused were incarcerated in the Tongo police cells in the Talensi District.

According to police sources, the suspects burst the walls of the cells and fled from lawful custody on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

The event was confirmed by Upper East Regional Police PRO ASP David Fianko-Okyere.

"I can assure you that such an incidence occurred. Three individuals managed to flee under the particular conditions that we are examining.

"We're doing everything we can to get them back as soon as possible," he stated.

Meanwhile, DCOP Dr. Shaibu Gariba, the Upper East Regional Police Commander, has led a team of top officers to the police station to assess the situation.
