Thousands Of Houses Earmarked For Domolition At Kasoa Millenium City

SOME property owners in Kasoa Millenium  City and Fetteh enclaves in the in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region would have to find alternative accomodations as the 21st Century Estate Developers of Millennium City in Fetteh have lawfully and legally prepared to pull down their housing properties.

These lands situated Kasoa Millenium  City and Fette of which these housing properties built were belonged to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 21st Century Estate, Mr Kofi Asmah who genuinely, traditionally, lawfully and legally acquired/bought the lands from the Gomoa Fetteh Royal Stool Family under the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area.

The housing properties, numbering about 5,000 have been earmarked on Thursday August 17, 2023 with the notices of possession from the Ofaakor Circuit Court served to the owners who, according to the information available to Soireenews.com bought these lands through unlawful transactions before building their houses on the said lands.

In addition, the exercise was carried out with massive security personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the clerks from the Ofaakor Circuit Court to serve notice of possession.

Soireenews.com has gathered that these properties, most of them have been built on these lands without the knowledge or approval of 21st Century Estate Developers.

Addressing journalists after the exercise to earmark the properties for demolition, Mr Asmah  threatened to demolish disclosedover 5,000 houses which have illegally been occupied by foreigners and echroachers within sector 3 of the estate demarcated land.

According to him, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of New world Investment and a leading member of the New Patriotic Party  (NPP), Mr Kwame Mpianim constructed the affordable housing for teachers, but unfortunately some individuals and foreigners have encroached  the land.

However the 21st Century Limited has then proceeded to court to seek judgement over the encroachment which the company has won the suit against ALHAJI AHMED HIJO last year 5th August, 2022, but the court have decided to serve notice of possession to the echroachers.

He called on every individual who has Encroached that portion of land to visit the office of 21st Century Limited for proper layout before the main demolition exercise will place.
