Police Make Breakthrough In Bullion Van Robberies
The Ghana Police Service, after several months of painstaking intelligence-led operations at the highest level, has made a breakthrough in the investigations into multiple Bullion van robberies recorded in the Greater Accra.
The areas in Accra where such robberies were recorded are Kingsway in February 2021, Baatsona (Spintex) in March 2021, Jamestown (Adedemkpo) in June 2021, and attempted robbery at North Kaneshie (industrial area) in February 2022.
However, preliminary investigations have established the involvement of two policemen among several other suspects. 
In a press release signed by the Director of Public Affairs Unit, Supt. Alexander Kwaku Obeng, police administration stated that the investigations are continuing and they expect to soon bring all culpable people to face full rigors of the law.
The statement asserted that the public will be given further details as soon as it is possible to do so without compromising the ongoing investigations.
The police in the statement assured the general public that the Ghana Police Service will continue to work hard to rid the country of criminal activities that disrupt the peace and stability of the nation.
