Thiago Alcantara was not included in Spain’s squad ahead of the October International fixtures.

Luis Enrique has released a list of 25 players who will take on Portugal in Lisbon in an international friendly on October 7 before facing Switzerland at Valdebebas and Ukraine in Kiev on October 10 and 13 respectively.

The 29-year old tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, September 29, after missing Liverpool Premier League game against Arsenal last Monday night and is in self-isolation.

“The club has, and will continue to follow, all protocols relating to COVID-19 and Thiago will remain in self-isolation for the required period of time,” the club added.
