Philipe Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian has disclosed the former Liverpool player wants a U-turn to the Premier League.

Coutinho rejected an offer from Manchester United and Spurs last season before he made a loan move to Bayern Munich from Barcelona.

The Brazilian’s playing time has been limited due to numerous injuries sustained throughout the season distracted by the coronavirus pandemic.

His commitment is still with Bayern yet it is up to the German club to decide whether to sign or let go after the current season following a loss of interest in activating a permanent move for the 27-year old player.

"He has a desire to return to the Premier League at some point," Joorabchian told Sky Sports.

"It may not happen this year, we don't know.

"We have not really discussed anything for now.

"It is up to Bayern Munich whether or not they want to extend the loan.

"It is their decision alone. We are willing to stay and we will see [what happens] next season when we return to this 'new normal'.

"We've had some conversations with Bayern about next season," Joorabchian said.

Coutinho is recovering from setback damage sustained from his surgery while recovering.
