António Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, has urged international donors not to transfer resources from other humanitarian efforts across the world to Ukraine.
Instead, they should contribute more to the Ukrainian situation without jeopardizing global efforts.
Mr. Guterres made the comments during a trip to Nigeria, where he visited jihadist-affected areas.
He claimed that the conflict in Ukraine was causing problems all around the world, notably in the sectors of food and energy.
As countries focus more on what's going on in Ukraine, several humanitarian organizations are already worried about a severe financial shortfall.
