The Rumours are lies, I’m Cool With My Father - Akwaboah

Akwaboah has denied claims that he's developed a bad relationship with his father, Kwadwo Akwaboah Snr.

The singer maintained that there is no such thing as "bad blood" between him and his father, who is a renowned veteran artiste.

He completely shot down the rumours of a sour relationship with Akwaboah Snr on Angel Drive with Okyeame Quofi.

“I have a good relationship with my father, even the Bible says we should honour our parents. How would we have recorded ‘Awerekyekyere’ if we are at loggerheads?” he questioned adding that his father together with his assistance made all the arrangements before the release of their remix.

He further stated that: “Ghanaians talk a lot, sometimes they don’t know what’s actually happening. I have a good relationship with my father, we are cool.”

Kwadwo Akwaboah Senior, who is now blind insisted that he will not allow the sickness to send him to an early grave.

He promised his unfailing loyalty to his fans to help his son be the best that he can.

"I refuse to allow that I will die with this sickness. I refuse. I know that there will be a change. It is Glaucoma. I know that God heals and God’s healing is more beautiful than that of man. Being blind does not mean that my brains are not functioning. I refuse to die in sorrow.” He said

Father and son are now both set to continue producing massive hits in the new era.
