Aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) in the impending parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Juabeng Constituency, Francis Owusu Akyaw has challenged that the developmental projects undertaken by him is a testament for delegates to give him the greenlight to represent New Patriotic Party in the 2020 Elections.

According to Mr. Owusu, the welfare of the people of Juabeng is his greatest concern hence his pursuit for the position.

“The delegates are witnesses to what I am doing for the constituency. I am not a Member of Parliament yet I have built a Police Station for the Juabeng Constituency.

 

 

"Talk of drinking water provision, renovation of schools and hospitals. I have undertaken all these steps to ensure that life gets better for the people,” he said.

Francis Owusu Akyaw filed his nomination on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Juabeng New Patriotic Party office to challenge incumbent Hon. Ama Pomaa Boateng in the parliamentary primaries which is a few months away.

 

 

Nicholas Donkor, aid of the Member of Parliament speaking on her behalf after filing her nominations to run for the second term addressed that the fitting work of Hon. Ama Ampomah Boateng has animated a section of delegates and party members to rally their support behind her to contest for the second term.

The polling station organizer for Juaben Ofoase advised the other opposition candidates to put a standstill on upsetting and perturbed words to enable decency reign in the primaries.

“The women in this constituency are supporting Hon. Ama Ampomah Boateng to stand for the constituency in Ghana’s parliament as a result of the good work she has done.

 

 

“My advice to the opponents is to put an end to offensive words to each other and remember that we stand for one common goal. We have a big fight ahead of us in the 2020 general elections hence the need for us to battle in peace and harmony.

“This will enable our opponent to know that we are solid and coming in with a united front,” he ended.
