Tension Looms at the subin constituency, as aspirants chase Chairman for party album

All the fifteen (15) aspirants at the subin constituency for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have accused the constituency Chairman for Subin, Mr Adusei Bonsu and his executive members for keeping the party's album too long in his possession.

They say it is the core mandate of the constituency chairman to release the party's album to the aspirants after they have gone through the vetting process

At a press conference today, the aggrieved aspirants disclosed that the Chairman has deliberately refused to produce the album for his own selfish interest under the influence of the member of parliament, Honorable Eugene Boakye Antwi.

They stated emphatically that, the MP for the constituency, Hon Eugene Boakye Antwi is the brain behind their actions.

They have requested for the party's album severally from the MP after they were vetted, all to no avail, therefore they sense a foul play, they stated.

The worried aspirants have vowed to take legal action against the MP and the old executive members, as according to the aspirants have connived to keep the old executives.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Issah Abdul Aziz Soja, an aspiring 1st Vice Chairman for the constituency said it was worrying how some people, out of selfishness want to keep album for themselves.

According to him, eversince he worked for the constituency from 1992, this is the first he is witnessing such a demonic act within the constituency.
He has however called on the NEC and other executive to intervene before things get escalated.

He said they are not going to sit aloof for certain people to dodge democracy and instead use demonic means to achieve their selfish goals.

"We want to signal a strong warning to the MP and his cohorts that they are not the only men within the constituency. They should watch out if they want to show manhood.
