Tension Brews In  Bibiani-Anhwiaso -Bekwai NDC! -Over Attempts By Reg.Executives To Rig Elections
The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai aspiring constituency secretary for National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region, Mr Ackah Nelson Frank, has accused the Western North Regional Executives of their attempt to rig their constituency executive elections.
Mr Ackah Nelson affirmed that the party’s regional executives have proposed to skip the lay down steps for the polls, perhaps suspecting they have the purpose to contravene the results for their favourite contenders.
Speaking in an account with the press, the Western North GAAM President expressed indignantly how several calls on the party’s executives to observe the laid down procedures have failed.
“As of today, we, the aspirants, don’t know where we will hold the elections. Albums containing names of the delegates have still not been made available to us. We have tried all what we can to get access to these documents but to no avail. We want to state it emphatically clear that we will resist any attempt by the regional executives to rig the elections,” he added.
He echoed that they have discerned the regional executives have wilfully omitted some names from the album, however calling on them to evade been unruly, since they won’t be oscillated to report them to the highest ranking of the party.
“To set the record straight, we wish to say the party doesn’t belong to regional executives. We expect them to make all processes transparent for everyone. They should follow what the party constitution says," he stated.
