The chief of Awutu Ayensuako in the Awutu Traditional Area of the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, Nai Kofi Antwi V, has bemoaned the rampant shooting and killing of innocent people in connection of chieftaincy and land disputes in the Awutu state.

The chief called for a human centered approach to stop the situation from escalating.

He expressed disgust over the spare of attacks and killings of people in the various villages and towns within the Awutu Traditional Area without any course

"We are tired of the stone throwing and we tired of shootings and killings of our young men and women by the thugs.

"We are worrying to hear in these days of the reports of the rampant shootings and killings of persons in some of the villages and towns within the Awutu Senya West District, which situation has been creating insecurity, fear and panic in the Awutu and its sorrounding communities, the visibly worried Awutu told journalists.
