Tax All Churches In Ghana- Afia Schwar Petitions Nana Addo

Ghanaian social media critics and entrepreneur Afia Schwarzenegger has petitioned the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, to start taxing all churches in the country.

In an Instagram video Afia posted, she begged that the President considers taxing churches because they make huge sums of money.

Churches and religious bodies in the country have been operating tax-free since time could record and the conversation of taxing them has always been met with mixed reactions.

Afia Schwar is one of the many persons who have noticed how churches cash out millions of cedis every week with no tax placed on their activities.

She sarcastically added that if he was able to tax the poor with E-Levy then he can easily tax the rich churches who make money from selling books, taking offertories, etc.
According to reports, Churches are more than schools and businesses in Ghana, and more is established as the day goes by.

It will be recalled that Nana Agradaa a popular fetish priestess accused of fraud, claimed to be a born again established her church after she was arrested and prosecuted.

News also broke that, Nana Appiah Mensah a popular businessman still battling a fraud case in court, has plans to venture into the church business under the name NAM Ministries.
Given this, Afia Schwar begged that the President considers taxing churches because they make huge sums of money.
