Tain District Hospital Organizers Multiple Casualty Simulation Training -For health workers and other stakeholders in the district
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tain TV during a one-day training, the medical superintendent of the Tain District hospital Dr. Philip Taah Amoako indicated that the training was organized to ensure that the participants/ beneficiaries gain the necessary knowledge when attending accident scenes to support victims without inflicting extra pain on them.

THE TAIN District Hospital in the Bono Region has organized multiple casualty Simulation exercises for the health workers, Ambulance Service, security services, Laboratory technicians, and physician assistants among others to ensure safety in saving accident victims.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tain TV during a one-day training, the medical superintendent of the Tain District hospital Dr. Philip Taah Amoako indicated that the training was organized to ensure that the participants/ beneficiaries gain the necessary knowledge when attending accident scenes to support victims without inflicting extra pain on them.
He explained that this training will be organized on frequent bases to instill the needed knowledge and understanding of how to save accident victims successfully to enhance quality health delivery in the Tain District and the Bono region at large
The Head of Ambulance Services in the Tain District, Mr. Emmanuel Amofa explained that in some instances people who visit accident scenes to rescue the victims end up causing more harm and pain to them due to ignorance on their part.
He indicated that people at emergency and accident scenes must ensure the victims are relieved from death and pains hence the training.
He explained that the training seems to emphasize a term described as Basic Life Support which guides the people on when and how to support accident victims.
He stressed that their doors are opened to offer education and training for other organizations and stakeholders who want to know more about the ambulance service and how accident cases are attended to.
The senior Nurse at Tain District Hospital, Madam Christiana Esi Ankrah expressed gratitude to the hospital management for an awesome education and training organized for them stressing that it will go a long way to help them in the discharge of their duties to save more lives at an emergency point.
