Sunyani East MCE nominee confirmed
The Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Honourable Akwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh appealed for unity during his reign.

The Presidential Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani East, Ansu Kumi has been confirmed amid controversies.
Mr Kumi who doubles as the constituency Secretary for the New Patriotic Party in the Sunyani East, whose endorsement received bipartisan support, polled 40 out of the 47 total valid votes.
The confirmation was supervised by the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye and the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon Akwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh.
Speaking before the confirmation, the Member of Parliament Hon Akwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh said he is optimistic about the nominee having the endorsement of the majority of the Assembly members after the voting.
He, therefore, appealed for unity during his reign.
