Stop This  Nonsense! -Greater Accra NDC Executives Spit At Theophilus Tetteh Chaie
Greater Accra Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) have hurled insults on the Greater Accra Regional Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr Theophilus  Tetteh Chaie
It has emerged that some disgruntled executives of the Greater Accra Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) have hurled attacks and insults on the Greater Accra Regional Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr Theophilus Tetteh Chaie for refusing to support the issues which were against the constitution of the NDC.
Their current beef against Mr. Chaie was that he has claimed in his petition to the National Executives of the NDC, Greater Accra Regional National Executives of the NDC, Greater Accra Regional Council of Elders of the NDC, Greater Accra Regional Parliamentary Caucus of the NDC that the NDC Greater Accra Regional  Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore and co-opted member of the NDC in the region, Nii Okai Laeyea are currently causing uneasy calm and confusion in the party of the region.
The continuous attitudes of the two top personalities of the NDC, Mr Chaie stated in the petition have the tendencies to destroy the NDC chance of winning more parliamentary seats in the region of the 2024 general elections.
In a strong worded petition to the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Mr. Chaie noted that "I write to petition your outfit on the conduct of the above which is contrary to lay down party procedures which if not addressed immediately will lead to disunity and lack of cohesion and therefore mar the effort of the party in consolidating the gains made in the Greater Accra Regional NDC in the last elections."
Articulating the reasons for the petition, Mr Chaie pointed out that Mr Ashie Moore disregarded "my advice not to circumvent the already laid down party guidelines for the Constituency elections in the case of Amasaman."
According to Mr. Chaie, his boss disregarded the suspension of the former Constituency Chairman (Kofi Zoryiku) by the then General Secretary of the party by reinstating him and included him in the election processes although he had not gone through the election procedures.
He pointed out that the Greater Regional Regional Chairman also included Mr. Thompson an aspirant who was disqualified per the mandatory disqualification in the guideline and whom a petition had been brought against.
Mr.Chaie explained that Mr Ashie Moore did this with the connivance of Nii Okai Laryea and some of the Regional executives.
Additionally, Mr. Chaie asserted that Mr Ashie Moore then tasked "me [the Regional Secretary Theophilus Tetteh Chaie to write a letter to the Electoral Commission and the Amasaman Divisional Police informing them of the impending elections and I refused because it was contrary to party election guidelines and procedures.]
According to him, the issue is still pending and I plead that the Chairman and Nii Okai Laryea be stopped from carrying out this illegality.
He stated that the Greater Accra Regional
Chairman has assigned himself the role of Regional Secretary and wants to run the day to day administrative activities of the party with no regards to the Regional Secretary.
"As a result of that some of the constituencies that were very stable are now having challenges due to his interference in their affairs. He storms into the meetings without recourse to the Regional Secretary and gives directives which are contrary to party rules and regulations and also injurious to party unity and cohesion.
"As a results of his actions petitions have been brought to the region from the following constituencies (Adentan, Ablekuma West, Ablekuma Central, Odododiodioo) due to his interference without recourse to party structures," he explained.
He mentioned that Mr Ashie Moore attempt to circumvent the work of the Regional Secretary by creating his own rules and regulations as to how the Secretary should operate.
However, the complains made by Mr.Chaie to the national leadership of the NDC in his petition, calling for the sanction to be meted out to the current NDC Accra Regional Chairman and his followers had argued some executives of the party in the region.
To score their political points, the executives resorted to use the social media platform including Whatsapp to insult and destroy the hard won reputation of Mr.Chaie.
For the envidence purposes, the Soireenews. com would like to reproduce the unedited versions of the various statements made by disgruntled executives of the NDC to sharply response to the petition by Mr.Chaie.

The outbursts of the executives of the party in the region reads in part; "You forgot to add that you walked out of a meeting and refused to sign letters on behalf of REC.
We are looking for money to pay for the rent of the office that you occupy and the office that you hold in very high esteem.
The office that you claim all other office holders should bow to.If we don’t get the money to pay for the rent, you will most likely operate from your house and meet the constituencies mentioned above in same.
You write very well, evidently, from the above petition. Why don’t you channel that same energy towards writing letters to solicit for funds??
You cannot hold the entire REC to ransom because of your ego and your self assumed “powers” which are alien to the NDC constitution.
Forgive my French, this is the most useless petition I’ve read in ages.We don’t have time for such immaturity. We are hungry for power. If you cannot fall in line,we will push you aside to achieve our operation 25 seats.
We know of all your back biting, manipulation and machinations.Even you,who wrote a letter purporting to have emanated from the regional executive committee for a UK visa to be issued to an individual, has not been petitioned against.
STOP this nonsense and let’s work together for victory.Like I stated earlier,go and look for money for us to pay for the rent arrears at the office, that’s more meaningful than the useless petition written above.
He is using our Regional letter heads for visa connections. This is from Anthony  on our GAR platform
No I'm out of sir. My response is to win more seats at the Region, form the next Government and find money  to pay the Regional office rent of 38.000$.
