Addressing a press conference on Sunday, the Paramount Chief (Omanhene) of Gomoa Akyeampim Traditional Council, Omanhene Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobiah II stated that non of the individual's families claiming ownership of the land have shown up.

The Paramount Chief (Omanhene) of Gomoa Akyeampim Traditional Council; Obirifo Ehunako Ahor Ankobiah II together with his council of chiefs have ordered all the chiefs and families under his traditional council claiming the new Agbogbloshie market belongs to them to provide every necessary legal document.

According to the Gomoa Akyeampim Traditional Council, since the relocation of the Onion sellers from the original Agbogbloshie market in Accra to Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region, many families around and within Dominase claims the said land belongs to them

"So we the Akwapim Traditional Council has set up a committee to sit on the matter to settle every land litigations concerning the market," the council noted.

Omanhene Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobiah II issued a three week-ultimatum to every family and individual claiming the ownership of the land to provide every necessary legal document of the land in the construction of the Akwapim Market Complex ( New AGBOGBLOSHIE)

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Omanhene Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobiah II stated that non of the individual's families claiming ownership of the land showed up.

"What we can state right now is that the legitimate owners of the said land which is Gomoa Dominase brought their documents and indeed he knew the landowners which is Dominase will show up with their documents because the land belongs to them," the chief clarified.
