Stan Xoese Dogbe, Mensah Woyome Donate Relief Items To Thousands Of Flood affected Victims At Agave Gamenu 

The relief items donated are food items including hundreds of bags of sachet water to ameliorate the devastating economic hardships brought on the area following the dams spillage by the Volta River Authority (VRA).

A FORMER Presidential staffer under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, Mr Stan Xoese Dogbe and the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Honourable Kobena Mensah Woyome have led their team to donate food items to thousands of flood affected victims at Gamenu Electoral Area who were who were affected by the Akosombo and Akuse dams spillage.

The relief items donated are food items including hundreds of bags of sachet water to ameliorate the devastating economic hardships brought on the area following the dams spillage by the Volta River Authority (VRA).
 
Following this initiative, displaced indigenes of Gamenu who were affected by the spillage including the National Democratic Congress  (NDC) fraternity expressed their profound Gratitude Mr Dogbe and the Team led by  Kobena Mensah Woyom for donating some food items.

 "We are saying that thank you for all the people of Gamenu still want more because we are worst hit by the flood," the beneficial residents told Soireenews.com
"We also thank the Media Houses (Joy News,Adom TV,Sela Radio, Ghana Web & others) for being part of this kind gesture," they added in a statement signed by the resident, Mr Seyram Glah.

It would be recalled that aside this, Honourable Woyome has led his team to donate food items few days after donating over 500 bags of water to the flood victims.
The lawmaker and his team are sharing food items loaded in a long KIA in his constituency to his constituents who were affected by the spillage.
Honourable Woyome, DCE for South Tongu District Assembly, Mr Seth Agbi and their entourage, the representatives from the G.E.S, Ghana Health Directorate, Naval Training School, the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service tour some flood-affected areas within the constituency.

The team started its tour from Hotel Waterfront, Holy Trinity SPA, E.C.G sub-station, Richard Novelty Catholic Hospital (Comboni) and the School, Sokpoe community, and Agave (Alikekope to be specific).
In these areas, parts of all the hotel rooms along Sogakope Detsawome road and Sokpoe were taken over by the floods, the entire ECG sub-station, the Comboni hospital, and the school along Fieve Road were also in the same situation. Some houses in the Sokpoe community were also affected. The Agbeve Electoral area - Alikekope entire community is almost taken over by the flood.

The situation is so serious that the authorities who visited pleaded with the affected persons to move to the high grounds to prevent further damage from the spillage. 
The Education Directorate also considers some alternatives that will keep school children safe in these dangerous times while the Health Directorate is also prepared for any eventuality.

The Military Training School ( Naval base) was also tasked to remove the weeds around the pillars under the highway bridge so that the bridge is not affected. The Police and the Fire Service personnel are also on standby monitoring the situation as the spillage continues.
The food items given will help alot of the displaced indigenes who were affected by the spillage.
