As part of his religious tour of the North East region, the Supreme Leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana, Sheikh Khalifa Ahmed Abulfaid Maikano has visited teachers and students of Presby Primary school in Nalerigu.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, the assistant headmaster of the school, Mr. Manguaba was grateful for Khalifa’s Visit.
He however lamented on some challenges faced by the school when comes to teaching and learning.
Mr. Manguaba bemoaned the lack of desks (Chairs) in all the six classrooms, Textbooks, and limited infrastructure especially teachers' accommodation.
He is therefore appealing through the supreme leader to Government, None Governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to come to their aid.
On his part, Khalifa Sheikh Abulfaid commended the teachers for their effort in instilling knowledge in the children upon the challenges.
He prayed for the teachers and pupils of the school and assured them of development by Allah’s grace.
Khalifa will continue his journey to the Samuni community also in the North East region.
