Acutis was a gamer and computer programmer who passed away at the age of 15 in 2006 from leukemia. Pope Francis has acknowledged a second miracle linked to Acutis.

Acutis used his technological expertise to promote Catholicism throughout his life, even going so far as to create a website that chronicled miracles.

After his family relocated to Milan, Italy, he was born in London in 1991. Acutis' Polish nanny fostered the little boy's religion despite the fact that his parents were not religious.

Following his passing, his body was transported to the Italian town of Assisi, where it is currently on display in a shrine with other artifacts connected to him.

In order to be considered for canonization, a candidate for sainthood often needs to have two miracles credited to them.

Acutis is credited with the most recent miracle, which concerns the purported recovery of a Costa Rican girl who sustained a brain injury after falling off her bicycle in Florence, Italy, while pursuing her studies.

Her mother claimed that she prayed at the Assipian tomb of Acutis for her daughter's recovery.

After performing his first miracle in 2020, Acutis was deemed "blessed" and beatified after he supposedly healed a Brazilian youngster who had a congenital pancreatic abnormality that prevented him from eating meals regularly.

The Pope will call a conference of cardinals to decide whether or not Acutis is a saint and when she will be canonized once two miracles have been attributed.

His narrative is thought to be beneficial for the Catholic Church in its efforts to establish stronger ties with the younger generation in the digital age.

Friends and relatives recall that Acutis, who is regarded as a millennial because he was born between the early 1980s and the mid-1990s, enjoyed playing video games like Pokémon, Halo, and Super Mario.
