Self Styled Stool Father  Of Prampram  Exposed! As Kingmakers And Elders Advise General Public To Stop Dealing With Him
Numo Osabu Abbey, self-styled stool father of Prampram
A call has been made to the general public, particularly the well-meaning citizens of Prampram Traditional Area in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region not to deal with any chieftaincy and land transaction matters with Numo Osabu Abbey who is currently parading himself as the stool father of Prampram Paramount without any traditional locus.
According to the principal kingmakers, accredited heads of the families, elders,queen-mothers, traditionally priests and priestesses who constituted the Prampram Paramountcy, those who continue to bring issues of the chieftaincy and land litigations to M.r Abbey to settle are doing that at their own risk, since M.r Abbey is not a recognized and legally installed Prampram Stool father.

They were responding to the recent media report being attributed to Numo Osabu Abbey to the effect that he (Numo Osabu Abbey) has strongly supported the so-called concerned citizens of Prampram Traditional Area calling for the installation of the new paramount chief of the area since they had never accepted Nene Tetteh Wakah III as Prampram's Paramount Chief.

Articulating on the Prampram chieftaincy dispute and facts emerging, the accredited elders and principal kingmakers told the Journalists yesterday in a press conference that Mr. Abbey was illegally installed a stool father of the Prampram traditional area.
Addressing journalists in Prampram on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the Kingmaker (Dzaase) Linguist of Prampram, Numo Opey on behalf of the elders and kingmakers stated that before his installation, Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III is the legally, legitimately installed, and gazetted stool father of Prampram from the Annewe royal family.
However, the action and action of Numo Osabu Abbey, Gideon Sampson Abbey, and there have angered the principal kingmakers, accredited heads of the families, elders, queen-mothers, traditionally priststsand priestesses who came out to set the record straight about the matter and cautioned Osabu Abbey to stop parading himself as the stool father of Prampram else he would incur their wrath.
They stated that Osabu Abbey wrote a letter to the Prampram Traditional Council to be inducted into the council as a member, the same letter was rejected on grounds that his installation is beyond and customs of the land because there is already known stool father of Prampram in the person of Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III.
In this regard, they pointed out that Osabu Abbey, therefore, is not and has never been a Traditional Council Member saying that his current move to be deceiving the people that he is the stool father of Prampram is wilfully violation of the traditions customs, and norms of Prampram as well the Chieftaincy Act, 1971 (Act 370).
According to them, to legitimize his self-arrogated position, he (Osabu Abbey) wrote a letter of abdication and compelled Numo Osabu Teye Larbi (the legitimate stool father) to sign, preying on his illiteracy.
They pointed out that Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III realizing the deception of Osabu Abbey wrote to the Prampram Traditional Council that he has never abdicated his position, that he remains the legitimate stool father, and that his role has never changed.
This letter, according to elders and kingmakers of the area was copied to the DCE, District/ Divisional and Greater Accra Regional Police Commanders and Numo Osabu Abbey himself, etc.
They added that "Till today Osabu Abbey has not replied the said letter.
They explained that the statutory declaration of the abdication did not have the commissioner of oaths' stamps nor signature on it. It had no Jurat explaining the contents of the letter since Numo Osabu Teye Larbi is illiterate.
"By common sense, a position must be vacant before a new occupant must be installed, but in this case, Osabu Abbey has enstooled himself stool father 2 years before Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III was made to sign the abdication letter," they explained.
According to them, no destoolment rites have been performed for Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III after the said abdication, meaning he is still the Legitimate stool father of the area, as far as customs and traditions of Prampram are concerned.
They indicated that After eight years of the illegal installation of Osabu Abbey, Numo Osabu Teye Larbi still has his name in the National Register of Chiefs in Kumasi.
They explained that the late chief of the Prampram traditional area, Nene Tetteh Djan had sued Numo Osabu Abbey for selling all the family lands in Prampram, and in that suit, he described Osabu Abbey as a self-styled stool father because he had not been recognized as the same by the customs and traditions of the land.
According to them, Osabu Abbey kept this position as the stool father by the use of juju, land guards, and the unleashing of mayhem. Violence and evil run through his veins.
They asserted that Osabu Abbey has been in the habit of fighting chiefs and usurping authorities.
They noted that he, by the use of land guards on countless occasions fought the former chief Nene Tetteh Djan, stopped him from performing his Annual ritual and rendered him useless as a chief," they added.

They urged the general public not to accord such an anarchist and a divisive person the respect of the stool father because he is not or do any business with him. Whosoever does business with him do so at their peril.
They stressed that Numo Osabu Teye Larbi III (A1) remains legitimate and gazetted Paramount Stool Father of the AnnorWe Royal Family and the Prampram Traditional Area as a whole
