Clemento Suarez has revealed that the Family of Jerry John Rawlings has called him to stop mimicking Rawlings for now.

The actor and comedian had developed a knack for mimicking the late ex-president after he first tried it when he visited Rawlings back in August.

Ever since then, Clemento Suarez had been using the clip as a form of promotion for himself and his brand.

Rawling's relatives have now told him to stop, per Clemento Suarez's revelation on Accra-based UTV when he was asked to imitate Mr Rawlings.

“I was called by ex-president Rawlings’ family to stop imitating him from now until he is buried. I was told to respect the dead and more so his personality as a former president,” he revealed.

The comedian, honourably, has said that he will abide by the directives of the family.

Jerry John Rawlings died in the morning of Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

He died at the age of 73, leaving behind a wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings and four children.
