Ghanaian comedian, Clemento Suarez has admitted that he Ghanaian entertainment industry has been getting much support than it used to be a while ago.

According to him, people are starting to show more loyalty to comedy shows because they now believe in the craft, unlike before when they paid no attention.

“Now the support for the comedy industry is bigger than in the past. Some of us have been in the industry for some time now. We used to have low attendance at our comedy shows because people didn’t believe in our brand," he said while Speaking in a celebrity interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central.

He mentioned that comedians can now also sign huge endorsement deals only because of their huge fanbase of late.

The award-winning comedian has however called for more support for the industry so that it can boom to rival the standard set by the comedy sector of the Nigerian entertainment industry.

"We’re hoping it gets bigger like what is happening in Nigeria and other foreign countries. We pray and work hard to get there someday.”
