Spanish giants – Real Madrid are reportedly hoping to announce the signing of PSG forward Kylian Mbappe today.

The French giants will sanction a £154million deal after days of tense negotiations between the two soccer heavyweights. Spanish outlet Marca reports.

The reports reveal that Real Madrid will pay £145m upfront, plus around £9m in add-ons, for the World Cup-winning superstar.

Paris Saint-Germain has been trying all their possible best to keep hold of Mbappe despite the blockbuster signing of Lionel Messi this summer.

But the 22-year-old ex-Monaco star has rejected multiple contract offers before telling the club he wants out.

Kylian Mbappe has continued to train with PSG amid the brouhaha, in which his club accused the Los Blancos of an 'illegal approach.

That has left the Parisians facing the dilemma of whether to sell now or risk losing their goal machine for free next year when his deal elapse.

PSG rejected Real Madrid’s £137m bid on Wednesday, with sporting director Leonardo stating the offer was 'very far from the club's valuation of the forward.

Real have now improved their offer but the sum is still short of the £162m PSG paid for Mbappe in 2017.
