Speaking to some of the traders on the increase on the increase, they blamed the situation on the continuous increase in fuel prices among other factors . They however lament the fall in demand for goods this season as compared to previous years.

The traders are blaming the fall in demand on the high prices of goods on the market and financial restraint of buyers.

Soiree News' Nana Ama Asiedu further engaged some buyers who expressed worry over the rate at which prices of goods are increasing on daily bases.

While some believe traders have taken advantage of the mass demand of goods due to the yuletide to make profit , some also believes government must be blamed for showing no concern at the increasing rate of fuel hike in the country.

To some also, government must ensure structures to regulate pricing of goods in the country’s market.

Meanwhile, some traders and consumers in the Dormaa Municipality have described the seasons as the worse Christmas ever, blaming the situation on economic hardship and poor governance.

Christmas is a season where families who have been away from home for a while return for fun and family reunion. It a season to celebrate the birth of Christ and it’s benefit to Christianity.

Following the mass gathering of families and people, the demand for goods during the season is always on the rise.
