Police Clash With Pragia Drivers In Kumasi
Police and military officers on this morning have clashed with Pragia (tricycle) drivers at the entrance of Racecourse for refusing to obey Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) order banning them from entry into the business center in Kumasi.
Police officers on duty fired several warning shots to separate the cloud who have blocked the main road leading to Kejetia in a form of demonstrating against the authorities.
Some of the aggrieved drivers when speaking to Joseph Amoateng said that, they cannot understand why the authorities of kumasi metropolitan assembly have taken entrench decision against their operations in the business district.
Some of them believes that this decision is highly motivated by politics because most of them belongs to NDC.
They maintained that they are not those causing traffic in central business district in Kumasi as claiming by authorities of KMA.
"We have no job after school and believes this is the available option for us be employed," they cried out.
