Okomfour Kwadee's mother has called on Ghanaians to come to her "ailing" son's aid.

She has expressed the need for assistance after Kwesi Ernest pleaded with Kwadee's family to reveal the circumstances surrounding his health.

A viral picture of Kwadee surfaced on the internet, with the musician looking extremely sickly in the photo. His mother has now declared that she can no longer handle Kwadee's health situation on her own.

According to her, she has done everything in her power to help her son's condition without any positive outcome. She mentioned that she has taken Kwadee to all the prayer centers in Ghana to no avail.

She said: "Ghanaians know his state and what he is going through. I am his mother, I didn't sit to watch my son go through that situation. I have tried my best. He's at Santasi. I have said everything I have to say to him. I have taken him to lots of places just to see him heal and get better. But he doesn't like that. I am still doing that," while speaking to Peace FM. 

"As a mother, you cant watch to see your son go into that state so you will take him to prayer centers and other places that you think can solve his situation," she concluded.

The obviously distressed woman was speaking in her native Twi dialect as she bemoaned the unfortunate circumstances that have befallen her son. She said that her only joy now would be to see her son go back to his normal life and continue to do his music.

Okomfour Kwadee has been known to be struggling with mental challenges that landed him at a rehab center. In 2018, the news about him being abandoned at the rehab center by his family went viral.

He was believed to have recovered shortly after the news, but it seems like he has unfortunately suffered a relapse.
