Players of Tamale City Sustain stone injuries, Club vehicle damage by supporters Baffour Sports Academy

Head coach of the Tamale City, Mr. Tanko has been rushed to the Nsoatre hospital

Players of the Tamale City Football Club and their management have been attacked with stones by supporters of Baffour Sports Academy at Nsoatre in the Bono Region.


The Northern Region football club was also brutalized in their home with sticks and other objects.

In a video intercepted by Soireenews, supporters of the Baffour Sports Academy are seen chasing the club vehicle with several motorbikes.

The angry supporters were pelting the vulnerable players with the objects as they were chasing them.

Classes of the vehicle got damaged in the process, due to the intensity of the attack driver of the Tamale City drove to a nearby police station for protection.

The incident follows Baffour Sports Academy's 1-1 draw with Tamale City on matchday 25 of the Division one league.

The players, according to the head coach of the Tamale City, Mr. Tanko have been rushed to the Nsoatre hospital for medical attention, and they responding to treatment.
