Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford is reported to have hired special security to protect him and his family, the Daily Mail reports.

The Everton goalkeeper engaged in a fierce clash with Virgil van Dijk in the 2-2 Merseyside Derby clash two weeks ago which led to the Dutchman damaging his ACL; an injury which seems to have ruled him out for the rest of the season.

The Reds failed to sign a centre back in the summer transfer window following the departure of Dejan Lovren and would have to cope with Joe Gomez, Fabinho and injured Joel Matip until the January transfer window, a decision predicted by many to cost Jurgen Klopp’s side this season from defending the League title.
