The rightful principal kingmakers, accredited heads, and elders of Ayikai Doblo sub- divisional stool who are custodial owners of Ayikai-Doblo Stool land in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region have appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to impress upon the Police Commander of Amasaman Division, Chief Superintendent Francis Yiribaare to immediately stop one pastor Amartey from developing on the land under borne of contention at Ayikai Doblo Peace-Village.

According to them, they could not fathom why the man of God has asked his workers to continue to develop the disputed land since the case of who owned the ownership of the said land is currently pending before the Crime department of Amasaman Divisional Police Command.

They stated that the pastor has taken advantage of the pending case at the Amasaman police station to develop the land which he has not bought from "we rightful principal kingmakers, accredited heads and elders of Ayikai Doblo sub- divisional stool who are custodial owners of Ayikai-Doblo Stool land.

"When the police invited all of us to come and discuss the case in the Amasaman Divisional police command, the pastor has refused to show up for three consecutive times. But before we realized he has been using his workers to develop the disputed land although the case has been settled," they disclosed.

"We are appealing to the IGP to immediately use his offices to order the Police Commander of Amassan Divisional Police Command to ensure that the pastor stop his continuous habit of developing the land until the final determination of the case before the police.

"So far as we are concerned we never sold any land to the so-called mam of God at Ayikai Doblo Peace Village to build church or house. We are saying that we don't even know him so we want the IGP to stop him to ensure peace in the area.
"We are law-abiding people of Ayikai Doblo Peace-Village so we don't want to take the law into our hands, that is the reason why we are using this medium to plead with you, the IGP to call the pastor to order. Because what he is doing now is completely a violation of the law," the elders told journalists today.

Addressing a crowded press conference at Ayikai Doblo in Accra today, the lawful caretaker of the Ayikai Doblo Peace-Village land, Mr. Nii Amo Dodo aka Nii Azooto stated that the pastor claimed to have bought the land from some elders who are not the rightful or direct members of the Ayikai Doblo Stool land.
He accused the pastor of illegally registering the land with the Lands Commission with the fake documents issued to him by some self-seeking elders of Ayikai Doblo who illegally sold the land to him.

Meanwhile, information available to Soireenews. com indicates that the some police CID with the Amassan Divisional Police Command have called via telephone on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 morning to caution him to stop his workers from developing the land but the man of God ignored the police order.
