Panic as husky dog mistaken for predator in Namibia

According to local media, a dog hiding in a bush in a Namibian town caused panic when alarmed locals believed it to be a predator that could eat their domestic animals.

Police and emergency response teams were at the scene in Ehenye on Wednesday, as wary people observed from a distance, according to videos published by the Namibian Sun's new website.

Children ran after the husky dog after realizing it was not a threat, according to a report in the Namibian Sun.

After being reported missing to the police, the dog was located and given back to its owner.
