Minister for Information who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for  Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Kojo Oppong-Krumah, has entreated the young entrepreneurs to demonstrate a culture of courage, trust, and integrity to enable other business people to do business with them.

Minister for Information who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for  Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Kojo Oppong-Krumah, has entreated the young entrepreneurs to demonstrate a culture of courage, trust, and integrity to enable other business people to do business with them.

Mr. Oppong-Krumah made the call when he was speaking to the teeming youth drawn from the Anyaa Sowutoum to attend a career fair workshop organized by The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa Sowutoum, Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi held at the Pentecost University in Accra on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

The program forms part of achieving the vision of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s One Million Jobs Agenda.
 
Mr. Oppong-Krumah lauded the efforts of MP f
and stressed that boosting employment and enterprise opportunities in Ghana project seeks to address the root causes by supporting sustainable and decent enterprises in entrepreneurial skills.

He emphasized that as part of the economic recovery efforts by the government and other development partners, people are empowered and encouraged to be creative through their ingenuity so that the private sector could be strengthened to development of the economy thereby raising and improving incomes and access to interpreter services.

He centered his statement on three key points of entrepreneur skills namely value, proof of concept, and investments to create and promote entrepreneurial and employment opportunities.
For his part, Dr. Kisi admonished parents to desist from deciding the career future of their children, whilst urging teachers to contribute by directing the children to focus on their talents.
He noted, that the career fair would provide a huge opportunity for the youth in the area to build their capacities in various areas of job prospects and expertise to promote employment.
The Constituency has huge development potential and opportunities to attract both investment and technical support from well-meaning organizations.
