NPP MP, Dr Adomako Kissi Organizes Free Health Breast Cancer Screening Exercise For Anyaa Sowutuom Constituents

The motive of this health screening exercise was to motivate the constituents to do regular medical checks on their Breast and Blood Pressure (BP) to improve their health and well-being, especially the women.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Adomako Kissi over the weekend organised a Free Breast Cancer Screening Exercise in Christ Preachers Chapel located at Sowutuom.

The Free Health Screening on Breast Cancer and Blood Pressure Check,were aimed at early detection by keeping the women in the Christ Preacher's Church and constituents fit, whiles engaged talks about breast  cancer on how to examine their breast to detect early cancer.

The initiative was carried out with a team led by  Dr. Kissi and Senior Physician Assistant from Ga-Central Municipal Assembly in charge of Anyaa Sowutuom, Madam Twumasi Ampofo, as well as nurses from theDeseret Hospital, the private hospital located along the Antie Aku stretch of road.

The motive of this health screening exercise was to motivate the constituents to do regular medical checks on their Breast and Blood Pressure (BP) to improve their health and well-being, especially the women.
The women who benefited from the exercise, those diagnosed were also referred to Hospital for further treatment.

Beneficiaries thanked Dr. Adomako Kissi for such a kind gesture and showered praises on the Member of Parliament for taking into consideration the health of his Constituents, whiles the Christ Preacher's Church offered prayers for the Member of Parliament and his team members.

On her part, Madam Twumasi Ampofo, Senior Physicians Assistant of Ga-Central Municipality stated that, the exercise was a good one from the MP and he deserved a thumbs up since October marks Breast Cancer month and however, made a request to him to make this exercise more frequent.
