No Sarkodie: Best Ghanaian Rapper is Between Kwadee and Obrafour - Appietus

Appietus has sensationally claimed that Sarkodie is not in the running for the best two rappers in Ghana.

The music producer stated that although Sarkodie can be considered the fastest, Obrafour and Okomfour Kwadee are better than he is when it comes to lyrical content and authenticity.

Only those two can lay claim to the title of the best rapper from Ghana, Appietus explained.

Per his view, with the experience he has from producing music, Okomfour Kwadee and Obrafour both have lyrical content and ability to drive home messages which makes it extremely difficult to choose who is the best between them.

“...this will be a difficult one. As the word for word, in terms of style and uniqueness, without copying anyone, if you are talking to me as a producer for the best rapper [in Ghana] as authentic and original, I will say it is between Kwadee and Obrafour.

"Yes, Sarkodie is good. He has style and some content but when we talk about Obrafour or Kwadee, the content in their songs is not easy and their messages are very loaded.”

This he said In an exclusive live chat on Kumasi-based Pure FM’s ‘Hammer Time’ entertainment program with host, Hammer Nti.

Appietus' view goes against the majority of rap lovers' view, who not only think Sarkodie is the best in Ghana but also the best in Africa.

"I almost blasted my speakers because you need to hit him hard and that’s why you hear him saying Appietus ‘ma me volume’ in the song,” he noted.
