Former Multimedia Group employee, Nana Yaa Brefo, has announced that there is no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to journalism.

The radio and TV host who is now with the Angel Broadcasting Network has stylishly hit out at her former employers over the incident that led to her resignation. She was heavily criticized for asking "stupid questions" on her interview with actress Nana Ama McBrown.

 The anchorwoman expressed her pain while speaking in an interview during the official opening of Angel FM in Accra, she said: “Sometimes, the work we do, people don’t get it… and if you don’t get it, you have to ask …I have been in this business for over 18 years and I know how it is. The vision and mission is to stay focused.”

She noted that the public and her former employees did not fully understand the situation, hence the criticism that she received, she stated: "If you watch the three-hour interview that morning, you would understand why I asked that questions. I just ask questions and that is my job. If you call me and you tell me that you’ve called me several times and I can't find your number on my phone, the next question, as a normal human being, you ask is which number did you call?”

"If you watched the program, you would see that she rather probably put me in a light that looked like ‘this is your job but I want to show you how you do your job’. But I didn’t take it serious, I wasn’t angry about it. I am ok with that; it is part of the job. I am not apologizing because I didn’t do anything wrong, it isn’t that I am pompous or I don’t know how to say sorry. 

“In journalism, I don’t know where stupid question falls. There is nothing called stupid question. The only thing that you can call stupid is how you answer it. “
