Starboy Wizkid's former girlfriend, Tania Omotayo has finally opened up about her struggles with Endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue similar to that which forms the lining of a uterus grows outside of a uterine cavity.

She talked about why she never publicly spoke about it, her struggles before she found out she had it, the day she was diagnosed and everything in-between.

She says she hopes that by sharing her story, she encourages someone, because making the decision to share wasn't easy.

"I never shared this, a lot of people don't know that I actually have endometriosis and it's because of the culture that I come from and we live in. I had always said that I would never speak about it until I had a child because I didn't want to be shamed, and it was not not something that I could deal with."

She explained how after seeing many doctors when she was in her early 20s, she finally found out she had stage 3 endometriosis.

According to her, she felt devastated.

She also talked about how she went for surgeries different times.

Tania revealed that a few people shamed her, saying she cannot have kids.

She ended by advising woman not to ignore signs and to always see the doctor for general checkup for fast detection of anything they could be having.

Tania Omotayo is a Fashion entrepreneur, she welcomed her first child Sarai, with husband, Sumbo last year.
