Nigerians in Koforidua hit the street

Nigeria nationals have hit the streets in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

They were spotted, clad in the red armed band and apparel, moving on streets of Koforidua, over the death of their colleague Emmanuel Mackuochuku.

The 30-year-old, well known for the tattoo on his entire body and piercing of his ear as well as nose, died last week.

Unfortunately, the cause of his death is unknown at the moment, causing a lot of fear amongst his other Nigerian nationals.

His friends and sympathizers, therefore, mobilized to hit the streets by moving to shops owned by Nigerians amidst singing and drumming to raise funds for his burial since his families are not located in Ghana.

The movements obstructed the traffic flow in most parts observed.

It is believed the body will likely be moved to Nigeria for proper custom to be performed before burial.
