Principal kingmakers accredited elders, and royal heads of families in Prampram in the Ningo-Prampram District in the Greater Accra Region have stated that categorically that Nene Tetteh Waka III is the only recognized traditional, legal, and constitutional installed paramount chief of the Prampram Traditional Area.

According to them, Nene Tetteh Waka III, after his installation was on February 11, 20019 taken through the customary rituals of the area to signify his installation, calling on the public to disregard any person claiming to be chief of the area, since they had installed Nene Tetteh Waka III as the legitimate Paramount Chief to ascend the throne.
"We on behalf of the Gyaase and kingmakers of the Prampram paramountcy want to sound a word of warning to the various media houses or journalists who were rented by the self-seeking people to write such story to attack the integrity of the Paramount Chief of Prampram, Nene Tetteh Waka III to stop else they would be dragged to the National Media Commission (NMC).

"We are aware that some media houses were hired by our rival to tarnish the image of the chief and that we are not going to allow them to carry out their evil acts. We want peace and unity in Prampram because the chieftaincy matter in the area in connection of the paramountcy is over now," the Principal kingmakers stated this in reaction to the media publication to the effect that captioned "Nene Tetteh Waka III is not the Paramount Chief Prampram Traditional Area."

They described the media publication as untrue, stressing that Nene Tetteh Waka III is the only recognized traditional, legal, and constitutional installed paramount chief of the Prampram Traditional Area in the Ningo Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region.
These traditions and customary antecedence have informed the decision of the Judicial Committee of the National House of Chiefs (NHCs) headquartered in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region to gazette the chieftaincy status of Nene Tetteh Waka III.

"We want the state to set the record straight that to the best of our Knowledge Nene Tetteh Wakah III was duly Gazetted on the 22nd day of December 2021 by the National House of Chiefs at Kumasi and has also been duly accepted both into the Prampram Traditional Council and the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs," the kingmakers stressed.
