The Kwabenya Traditional Council has lifted its ban on Noise making on drumming today; Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

The Ga Traditional Council placed a ban on drumming and noise-making in the Greater Accra Region recently to pave way for the Homowo festival.

The ban is always enforced in the month of May to perform the traditional rites until June before the festival happens in August.

According to the spokesperson for the Kwabenya Traditional Council, Nii Mensa Dza Nyumo, "Kwabenya Musuku Manhene," revealed that the final traditional rite of lifting the ban on drumming and noise-making is ongoing.

He, therefore, called on Chiefs and Family at the various Communities to help solve issues of Disputes, to enabled it to pave way for development.

Moreover, Nii further, advised the youth to be up and doing on their lives in terms of work to enabled them to get assistance from Nananom.
