Nearly 100 in isolation over Ghana Marburg cases

Following the confirmation of Ghana's first two cases of the Marburg virus by health officials, almost a hundred people have been kept in isolation.

Officials reported that two individuals in the southern Ashanti region died in hospitals after contracting the Ebola-like highly contagious hemorrhagic fever.

Authorities are advising people to stay away from caves since bats are a recognized source of transmission.
