The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has claimed that Nigel Gaisie raped Mzbel, but the act was covered up by the NDC to protect its integrity.

According to him, Mzbel was supposed to meet him to expose the terrible crime that Nigel Gaisie had committed but she suddenly decided not to show up after receiving a call from NDC’s newly elected Vice-Presidential Aspirant, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.

Kennedy Agyapong stated that Jane Naana Opoku called Mzbel to plead with her not to expose Nigel Gaisie because of Nigel's affiliation to the NDC. He revealed that Jane Naana protected the controversial man of God even though he had done something that should have been punished by the law.

The astute politician explained that the compensation must have been huge because Mzbel suddenly decided not to press legal charges against Nigel Gaisie after the whole ordeal. Kennedy then opined that since Jane Naana is willing to turn a blind eye to Nigel Gaisie's terrible act and support him through, she is directly responsible for his bad acts and since she's a strong representative of the NDC, the NDC is indirectly responsible for fuelling Nigel Gaisie in all his terrible actions.

Kennedy Agyapong, who just recently turned 60 is just recovering after he contracted the deadly coronavirus virus.  He had previously been in mandatory quarantine for 2 weeks.
